About OTS
Our story
Overseas Textile Services (OTS) is a consulting and sourcing company based outside of Venice in Treviso, Italy. Originally founded in 2008 as the Italian office of Japanese textile company Sumitex, we’ve developed business within the European apparel sector and now provide fashion services within outerwear, uniforms and work shoes. Since our early days, we’ve grown quickly and in October 2023 we were acquired by Material Exchange.
OTS was founded and is operated by partners Denis Dotto and Marco Dasè, and has an internal staff of 20 people. With two production coordinators in China, we’re able to have our feet on the ground in key market areas to provide the best service to our customers.

Denis Dotto
Denis Dotto has a degree in Business and Economics from the Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia. Early in his career, Dotto spent 10 years working in retail for the Benetton Group in the United States. He also spent 8 years in Hong Kong both as CEO of Stefanel Asia Limited and later as President of Stefanel Fashion Korea. Upon returning to Italy, Dotto became CEO of Hi-Tec Italia and then General Manager Europe for Australian Wool Innovation (The Woolmark). In 2008, he established OTS.
Marco Dasè
Denis Dotto

Marco Dasè
Marco Dasè is a textile engineer with both a technical and fashion background. Dasè has worked as a buying and sourcing manager at Stefanel; a fabric sales manager at the Benetton Group; and a sales manager at TBM Tessuti Italiani. He also organized the European sales network for the High Fashion Group. In 2009, Dasè joined OTS.
